sixties remake

I think if I could've lived in any film, it would A Single Man. It's directed by Tom Ford, so it's no wonder why it's a stellar visual collective of all things gloriously sixties. Fitted suits with pocket squares, cigarette holders, and Edie Sedgwick-inspired makeup. I would so love it if everyone continued the trend of dressing up on the daily. Instead of donning bouffants or taking the time to mold pin curls, we slick our two-day hair back in a messy bun or ponytail. Or in my case, I keep a bottle of dry shampoo handy for those mornings where I not only feel ultra lazy, but want to stretch it to a 3 or 4 day maximum... excuse me while I hide in my corner of shame.

On another note, this is also inspiring me to do some true thrift/vintage shopping and snag some unique finds for when I secure a permanent apartment back in Chicago.
